2026 Dodge
Charger

2026 is a significant year for Dodge, as a gas-powered edition joins the eighth-generation Charger lineup, which kicked off in 2024. This latest Charger features two versions of the twin-turbocharged SIXPACK inline-six-cylinder engine, which makes up to 550 horsepower. The top-line powerplant, standard in the Scat Pack and Scat Pack Plus trims, enables a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds. Every 2026 Dodge Charger gets standard all-wheel drive and a choice of coupe or sedan body styles with a convenient rear liftgate. The all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona, which we cover on a separate page, produces up to 670 horsepower with even swifter acceleration.

Charger R/T (Base Trim)

The R/T combines comfort, convenience, and performance into the Charger’s most affordable trim. It has LED exterior lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, fabric upholstery, acoustic windshield and front-door glass, gloss black-painted steel roof, and proximity keyless entry. Its other standard amenities include a 10.25-inch driver information display, heated power side mirrors, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a leather-wrapped shift knob, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, rear privacy glass, fold-flat rear seats, four USB ports (two per row), and 18-inch wheels.

A number of advanced driver-assistance systems help to safeguard occupants, with the list consisting of forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, active driving assist, active lane management, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. Also standard are drowsy driver detection, hill-start assist, and a Parkview backup camera. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen to unite wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an audio system with six speakers.

Charger Scat Pack

Performance upgrades underscore the Scat Pack trim over the equipment roster of the base R/T. The biggest improvement is the high-output 3.0L Twin-Turbo SIXPACK engine, which is complemented by Brembo six-piston front brake calipers, sport-tuned suspension, launch control, Custom Drive Mode, a gloss black-painted rear spoiler, and all-season tires on 20-inch performance wheels. The driver-assist suite is enhanced with front/side/rear ParkSense with adaptive guidelines.
