The all-new 2026 Jeep Recon introduces a different take on the brand's off-road formula by pairing an all-electric powertrain with many of the open-air features long associated with Jeep SUVs. Joining the Wagoneer S as the brand's second battery-electric vehicle, the Recon is also the only all-electric SUV offered with removable doors as well as removable glass on the rear quarters and swing gates. While it’s designed for everyday use, it remains focused on trail capability with standard all-wheel drive, Jeep's Selec-Terrain traction-management system, an electronic-locking rear axle, and Trail Rated credentials. The Recon is offered in a single well-equipped trim called Moab.
The standard driver-assistance technologies include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, active lane management, blind-spot monitoring, cross-path detection, intersection collision assist, adaptive cruise control, Selec-Speed/Rough-Road Cruise Control, a surround-view monitor, ParkSense front and rear park-assist with automated parking, side distance warning, traffic sign information, a rear-seat reminder, and drowsy driver detection. A 14.5-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect 5 infotainment system, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, access to Jeep Connect services, and an Alpine audio system with 11 speakers all come standard.
Jeep offers a power-sliding soft top for this vehicle. It’s also eligible for the Comfort Package which contains heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a digital rearview mirror, and an interior rear-facing camera. The Trailer-Tow Group will add blind-spot monitoring with trailer detection, a 7-pin/4-pin wiring harness, a Class III receiver, and trailer-hitch zoom.
The 2026 Jeep Recon introduces a bold new chapter for the Jeep brand by combining all-electric performance with the adventure-ready character drivers expect. In addition to being the only fully-electrified, open-air utility vehicle on the U.S. market, the Recon is the only model of its kind to earn the coveted Trail Rated badge. Powerful performance, advanced technology, more than 170 standard safety and security features, and the largest touchscreen ever offered in a Jeep vehicle help set it apart from anything else in its class.
