The Compass gained notice as one of Jeep's first crossovers, offering Jeep capability to a unibody architecture. For 2026, Jeep reorganized the Compass lineup, dropping the Sport and adding the Latitude Altitude with a bolder look. Chrome is largely replaced by gloss-black and gray on the exterior, including a black grille surround, black badging, and select darkened moldings. It also gets larger wheels (19-inch) than the Limited. Inside, piano black trim provides an understatedly modern aesthetic.
